Neuro-Inclusive Namibia Journey
14-Day Safari & Scenic Discovery
Day 1 – Welcome to Namibia
Your journey begins with a warm greeting at Hosea Kutako International Airport. We transfer to your overnight accommodation in Windhoek, where you may choose to rest or join an optional gentle exploration of the city. Highlights include the Independence Memorial Museum with its panoramic rooftop restaurant and the peaceful Christuskirche.
Day 2 – Fly to Sossusvlei
Today we take a scenic flight to the breathtaking Sossusvlei region, home to some of the world’s tallest sand dunes. Upon arrival, enjoy leisure time at the lodge — ideal for rest, reflection, or quiet personal time.
Day 3 – Explore Sossusvlei & Deadvlei
We rise early to visit the famous Sossusvlei and Deadvlei, surreal landscapes of red dunes and ancient trees. After a calm-paced morning of exploration and photography, we return to our accommodation for another night under the desert stars.
Day 4 – Journey to Walvis Bay
A short flight brings us to Walvis Bay, a coastal town where desert meets ocean. After settling in, you may choose a light walking tour to familiarize yourself with the town, or simply relax at your accommodation.
Day 5 – Adventures from Walvis Bay
Using Walvis Bay as our base, today offers optional guided excursions such as:
- A scenic Sandwich Harbour adventure
- Climbing or viewing the impressive Dune 7
- A tranquil desert drive to discover unique geology and wildlife
Return to the same accommodation for a peaceful night.
Day 6 – Skeleton Coast & Swakopmund Excursion
Today we travel north along the hauntingly beautiful Skeleton Coast, visit the historic seaside town of Swakopmund, and explore Henties Bay. The day is full of contrast and wonder, but paced gently for sensory comfort. Return to Walvis Bay for the night.
Day 7 – Moon Landscapes & Spitzkoppe
Another day of optional exploration from Walvis Bay. We visit:
- The dramatic Spitzkoppe mountains
- The otherworldly Moon Landscape
- Ancient Welwitschia plant communities
The day ends with our final overnight stay in Walvis Bay before we head inland.
Day 8 – Into the North: Epupa Falls
We fly to the remote Epupa region, where the day is reserved for rest and quiet immersion in nature. Our lodge here offers tranquility and a connection to the rhythm of the Kunene River. Overnight in Epupa.
Day 9 – Epupa Falls & Himba Culture
Today, we experience the majestic Epupa Waterfalls and visit a traditional Himba village or the Ovahimba Living Museum — or both, depending on group pace and interest. This is our final night in the far north.
Day 10 – Into Etosha National Park
From Epupa, we fly to Etosha National Park. After checking in to our lodge (inside or just outside the park), the rest of the day is for enjoying the property’s amenities — whether that means a swim, a nap, or some quiet wildlife viewing.
Day 11 – Etosha Game Drive
A full day of wildlife experiences awaits. We embark on game drives through Etosha, where elephants, lions, giraffes, and more roam freely. We also visit some of the main entrance gates with their unique attractions. Return to the same lodge for another night under the stars.
Day 12 – Etosha at Leisure
One last day to fully absorb the magic of Etosha. More game drives are available, or you may choose to rest, observe the wildlife at a nearby waterhole, or reflect on the journey so far. Final night in Etosha.
Day 13 – Return to Windhoek
We return to Windhoek for the last leg of our adventure. The pace slows as we settle into our accommodation and rest, preparing for a meaningful final day together.
Day 14 – Wildlife & Farewell
Our journey ends on a high note with a visit to the Naankuse Wildlife Sanctuary, where we witness carnivore feeding and learn about Namibia’s conservation efforts. We end the day at the famous Joe’s Beerhouse for a farewell meal in a relaxed, sensory-friendly setting.
Final overnight in Windhoek before departing home or onward to your next destination.
