Structure of the Tour:

From 24 March to 7 April, we will visit four unique regions, spending 3 nights in each location to support stability and comfort. Each destination has carefully selected activities, many of which are optional.

1. Overberg Region (Stay: Hermanus or Gansbaai)

Explore ocean life and natural wonders:

• Shark Cage Diving in Gansbaai ]optional & safely guided]
• Big 5 Marine Safari – dolphins, whales, penguins & seals [optional]
• Africa’s Longest Zipline in Caledon [thrill-seekers welcome] [optional]
• Cape Agulhas – southernmost point of Africa
• Art walks & leisure in Hermanus

2. Cape Winelands (Stay: Franschhoek)

A sensory-rich, peaceful region of vineyards and mountain beauty:

• Wine tasting at inclusive, neurodiverse-friendly estates
• Crocodile Cage Diving [optional & safely supervised]
• Leisure time for exploring Franschhoek’s galleries and cafés

3. Aquila Private Game Reserve (Stay: Aquila or Karoo 1 Hotel)

An immersive wildlife and bushveld experience:

• Guided Game Drives – see lions, elephants, rhinos and more
• Horseback safaris [optional]
• Quad Bike Trails [optional]
• Stargazing in the Karoo skies

4. West Coast Region (Multiple stops)

Rugged coastline meets cultural charm:

• Bokkomlaan – a fishing village full of flavour and heritage
• West Coast Fossil Park – touch the ancient past
• !Khwa ttu San Heritage Centre – indigenous culture & education
• Fairy & Pixie Village – a magical sensory-friendly garden
• Day trips to Paternoster, local markets, coastal cafés, and craft villages

Group Sizes & Personal Attention

To ensure calm, clear communication and comfort, we will divide attendees into smaller groups of around 50 people each. Each group follows the same itinerary from different starting points if necessary.

The event/tour runs from 22 March to 8 April 2026.

Guests are welcome to join or leave the tour on selected dates within this period, should the full duration be too long for their individual needs or preferences. We aim to provide flexibility and comfort, especially for our neurodiverse travellers.

Please note: You are not required to participate in any of the scheduled activities. If you prefer to spend the day quietly at the accommodation, we will gladly make the necessary arrangements to ensure your comfort.

On the days not specifically listed in the itinerary, we will enjoy a variety of activities in and around Cape Town. These may include visiting Table Mountain, Robben Island, Boulders Beach, sidecar motorbike rides, the Waterfront Duck tour, Cape Point, and more—depending on weather conditions and time availability.
